HMV 460 Lumiere conversion with the newly available Percy Wilson Panharmonic horn.
The HMV Lumiere with its pleated diaphragm horn was a disappointment for its owners and E.M.G took full advantage of this by offering cheap conversions of the cabinets to the almost complete exponential system offered by the combination of the Percy Wilson Panharmonic Horn, based on Wilson’s expansion of sound formula and the ingenious upside down Pivot Bearing Gooseneck Adjustable tonearm. The horn on this model had to be removed to close the lid.
