SERVICES

RESTORATION SERVICES:

• We provide complete restoration services for any acoustic or valve based gramophone or phonograph
• We are based in Melbourne Australia so you can either drop off the item to be restored in person or post it to me
• Often it's best to just send the part that needs restoring to save on postage to us and back
• We rebuild motors, soundboxes and complete gramophones
• Simply contact us with pictures for a free quote

PARTS:

• There are custom made rubber parts for sale in the For Sale section
• We have a large stock of used motors and soundboxes in all conditions so contact us, you never know, we might just have the parts you need
• We can sometimes even custom make parts

PRESERVATION SERVICES:

• Transcribe from any old medium to digital. We have transcribed cylinders from the 1900's to DAT tapes from the 1980's. We have turntables and specialised stylus to play any record from a 2" Bhutanese stamp to a 16" Army transcription record. We even transcribe tape cassettes, reel to reel and 8-track cartridges
• Check out this project where we extract audio from an aluminium "A Voice Record". It was recorded in London during the war by an Australian soldier. A vocal message for the family back home
• We also offer digital clean up services where we transcribe an audio to digital and then remove the noise, crackle and clicks

RENTAL SERVICES:

• We can rent gramophones and phonographs for movie sets, advertisments and for events
• We have thousands of vintage sheet music, posters and ephemera from most any decade from 1890's to create that certain vintage ambiance
• DJ-MONO can play for any themed party or event using period gramophones

EXHIBITIONS SERVICES:

• We can assemble bespoke exhibitions for any event using the museum's collections of gramophones, phonographs, ephemera, posters, needle tins and music
• We can provide decor and backdrops for themed parties & events
