William.S.Wild

William. S .Wild, was a member of The Gramophone Committee and specialized in the making and use of doped bamboo needles.

His obsession with bamboo needles was complimented by Virtz' soundboxes

Wild also "tuned" soundboxes, often used Meltrope soundboxes and even marked these soundboxes with his name. Tuning involved isolating all the parts with wax and leather washers making the soundbox completely rattle proof and airtight.

His Connoisseur soundbox was directly related to the E.M.G soundbox. Which one came first?
