Fibrer needle sharpener designed and built by Joe Ginn. There are two models, an early version with a replaceable sandpaper disc and the later improved version with serrations cut into the metal creating a cutting disc. This improvement insured that while sharpening, no bits of sand could get stuck on the fibre needle, which would then destroy records.
Never use sharpeners with old sandpaper and after sharpening, clean the needle with a brush before using it.
